2. What we actually use

We keep this deliberately minimal. SetBuddies does not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, or any third-party analytics platform — nothing here is used to profile you or serve ads.

• Session cookie (app.setbuddies.com) — a single, essential cookie that keeps you logged in. Without it, the app can't tell who you are between page loads.
• Local storage (both the app and this website) — remembers small preferences on your own device, such as your dark/light mode choice and whether you've dismissed the cookie banner below. This never leaves your device.

If we ever add analytics or other non-essential cookies in the future, we'll update this policy and the banner below first.

3. Managing cookies

You can control or delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings at any time. Since the session cookie is essential to how the app works, clearing it will simply log you out.
